02. Confirmation
Confirmation marks the point in a Catholic’s journey at which you affirm for yourself the faith into which you have been baptized and your intention to live as a disciple and share your experience of God’s great Love with others.
Welcome
Confirmation can make a real difference in a person’s life. It can give you a chance to think about your baptism and what it means to be a Catholic. Through Confirmation, your personal relationship with Christ is strengthened. You receive an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that allows you to be a missionary witness of Jesus Christ and His love in your family, neighborhood, and society.

Contact the Confirmation Coordinator/Youth Minister before September of each year.
Youth Confirmation – Steps for Enrollment
New Youth:

Fill out and turn in a registration form in person at the Faith Formation Office. Registration forms can be filled out online here: register online or by filling out the forms at the office. We would be happy to email you a form too. Just send us an email at jchiuppi@sbdiocese.org

Once registered, parents will be asked to attend a new parent / teen program orientation on Sunday, August 30th, 2026 at 7pm in the Sacred Heart Building.

Confirmation Sessions begin in Mid September. A calendar will be given out at the Confirmation orientation meeting or upon registration.

The total cost is $150 for one youth or $200 for two or more.
Please note: while operating our youth program requires a budget supported by parish registrations, no youth will be denied the sacrament because of financial hardship. If the registration fees are a burden to your family, please share with us what you can afford. -
Lastly, at registration please bring a copy of the youth’s baptism certificate, birth certificate and first communion certificate.
Returning Youth:

Fill out our registration form online and then contact the Faith Formation office to schedule payment and turn in any needed paperwork.
